SharePoint workflow – duplicate emails sent and suspended workflow

Hi,

I came accross a case in which the workflow should send an email notification to a SharePoint group and continue doing other stuff.

The problem is that the workflow sent the same notification 10 or more times and then the whole workflow get suspended with the error:

Solution

It turns out that one of the users in the SharePoint group is disabled and resigned which casues the SharePoint to behave like this
